What are the differences between the interface of China social media apps wechat and QQ?
WeChat and QQ are 2 popular social media app in China. Wechat has a prudent image while QQ is more youthful. Compare the interface of Wechat and QQ:
-Address book WeChat's address book is displayed in a list, contacts are sorted by initials, group chat has a separate entry. QQ's contact displays in the format of tabs and lists, which combines grouping and initials sorting.
-Call button QQ puts the call button in an obvious position at the top part, while Wechat hides it. Wechat users need to press the “+” at the bottom part to reveal the call button. This shows that Wechat is more focus on voice message than call.
-Supplementary features Wechat’s interface consists of 3 parts while QQ is with 4 parts. The extra part of QQ shows various features, e.g. red packets, gallery, and camera. Wechat deploys a simple style, only shows its main focus of texting & voice message, other features are hidden.
